Jean is a change maker; He desires to create change by enabling communities to live a dignified life. Jean is doing this through a data-enabled Technology innovations-"Akellobanker", a platform that enables low-income earners to access Life-saving products and services on Credit.
As the team CEO, Jean leads a team of 5 fulltime innovative youth and whom he has led to winning several awards including; GSMA Mobile Money Hackathon (July 2018)-for using mobile money to enable merchants to accept payments on credit. John Deere mobile App competition (May 2018)-for enabling farmers to access tractor hire services on credit. DataHack for Finance (2017)-Advancing financial inclusion through data innovation. Resilience for conflict Award (Sept 2016)- For using Digital financial services to build the capacity of post-conflict communities to whether social and economic Shocks). For His works, Jean has been recognized as a Young Achiever of 2018, where he received an award in Farming and Agro-processing category and as well was received an award as Top 23 Young African Entrepreneurs 2018 by RUFORUM. To cement his leadership capabilities, Jean is a 2018 Mandela Washington YALI Fellow with executive Business training from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
Mbaguta Liberio is a Microfinance specialist with over 10 years' experience in Microfinance and SACCO Development. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University, Bachelor's Degree Honors in Development Studies (specilising in Development Economics) from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Post Graduate Certificate in Project Planning and Management from Makerere University.
Liberio previously worked with Uganda Cooperative Savings and Credit Union Limited( UCSCU) where he served as the Head of the Central Finance Fund, Business Development Manager among other Assignments.
Liberio has also undertaken specialized Microfinance Trainings from the International Training Center of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO)-Turin, Italy between 2017 to 2018, The Central Bank of Uganda in Financial Literacy Training of Trainers and Financial management for SACCOs from Canadian Cooperative Foundation (CDF). He has also attained a continental Award under the African Development Education Volunteer Program (DE) by ACCOSCA and more Microfinance Certification from the Non-Aligned Movement Center for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM-CSSTC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Liberio is also a passionate leaders mentored under the Young African Leaders Fellowship (YALI ALUMNI). His experience and passion in Microfinance and Rural Development makes him a great resource to reckon with in this steadily growing sector and the enormous network he has created throughout the sector.
Justine is the Technical support officer managing system related operations. Justine has been in Quest for the past three year. She previously worked at UAE Exchange as the Customers relations and support officer
Robert is an ACCA Student. He is Certified Professional Banker from Uganda Institute of Banking & Financial Services. He holds bachelor’s of Business Administration from Makerere University Business School class of 2008. Having Finished University, Robert started his Banking career journey from Postbank. His commitment to excellence saw him being promoted in different departments within head office. His progress earned him employee of the year-2014 award and a promotion to recovery supervisor position in the same year. Later in 2014, he was promoted to System Quality Supervisor in Charged of System Reports of the Bank. With such an envious profile, Robert chose to take on more challenging operations with a Quest Digital Finance where he is the Director credit.
Job is a creative Finance and admin Manager. He holds a degree in business Administration and diploma in Business administration. Job has built his expertise in program management, where he worked as the Finance manager at the Forum for Women Educationist Uganda, an NGO that supports Girl Education. At Quest Digital Finance, Job is responsible for the efficient running of the back-office operations, the effective control of financial and human resources, and of the technical, IT and administrative systems, in order to contribute to the delivery of the company’s overall and commercial objectives.
